Mental Health Resources
The following is a list of mental health resources available to anyone, with which I have either had personal interaction or believe to be well-vetted resources. National organizations are as follows:
- 988lifeline is a free service that offers 24/7/365 phone call or online chat access to crisis counselors, who can offer assistance at times of critical need. I have called a similar mental health phone line in the past and found them to be professional and helpful in times of acute need. The link is the following: 988lifeline.org
- FindTreatment.gov is a US Department of Health and Human Services website full of information about mental health treatment and allows one to search for resources nearby such as inpatient facilities. FindTreatment.gov
- The National Alliance on Mental Illness is a private organization relying on many volunteers and donations to provide extensive free mental health resources. Their website is: nami.org
- SAMHSA is the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, which is a US government entity also full of resources for both substance abuse and mental health. The website is: samhsa.gov
- The National Institute of Mental Health is a part of the National Institute of Health and is heavily involved in mental health research. It does list some mental health resources as well. The website is: nimh.nih.gov
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has a section dedicated to mental health with multiple resources listed. The website is as follows: cdc.gov

- The Raleigh House in Denver, Colorado offers a wide range of treatment programs to include residential, PHP, and IOP options. The link is the following: theraleighhouse.com
- The Center for Dependency, Addiction, and Rehabilitation (CeDAR) is a part of the University of Colorado Health Center and offers residential, outpatient, and virtual programs for primarily drug and alcohol addiction. Their website is as follows: cedarcolorado.org
- West Pines Behavioral Hospital is a comprehensive inpatient mental health facility in Westminster, CO. Their website is as follows: westpinesbehavioral.com
- Centennial Peaks Hospital in Louisville, CO is a comprehensive treatment facility with inpatient and outpatient treatment options, and also offers ECT, which is a unique feature. The website is as follows: centennialpeaks.com
- The Denver Health Behavioral Health Center is part of the Denver Health Hospital and offers both inpatient and outpatient services, as well as another location which offers ECT. The website is as follows: denverhealth.org
